Wagsworth Bay is a port town where humans and furries have always lived side by side, and its annual amateur olympics are taken far too seriously. The prize is a gilded herring and a brand-new car, and only one of those matters. You tow wrecks for a living, until your best friend drops your name into the wrong box and the town makes you Judge of the Spirit, a job the mayor has been giving himself for forty years. The Judge decides who gets the herring, and the keys.
Rusty is a fox who does parkour and street drift, with a mouth that runs faster than her car. Sable runs the chess club and keeps her irony close. Luna captains the town team and does not let anyone see her flinch. All three have a reason to want that car, and a new reason to be nice to the Judge. Around them: Benny, who started this; Coco, whose radio show knows everything; Coach Reed, who speaks only in speeches; and Wally, who has entered the Games for fifteen years.
In development.
